And they say, "Why not is sent down to him a Sign from his Lord?" So say, "Only the unseen (is) for Allah, so wait; indeed, I am with you among the ones who wait."

NOW THEY [who deny the truth] are wont to ask, "Why has no miraculous sign ever been bestowed upon him from on high by his Sustainer?" Say, then: "God's alone is the knowledge of that which. is beyond the reach of human perception. Wait, then, [until His will becomes manifest:] verily, I shall wait with you!"
And they will say: If only a portent were sent down upon him from his Lord! Then say, (O Muhammad): The Unseen belongeth to Allah. So wait! Lo! I am waiting with you
And they say: Why is not a sign sent to him from his Lord? Say: The unseen is only for Allah; therefore wait-- surely I too, with you am of those who wait
And they say: Why was a sign not caused to descend from his Lord? Say: Truly, the unseen belongs only to God. So wait awhile. Truly, I am with you of the ones who are waiting awhile.
They ask, “Why has no ˹other˺ sign been sent down to him from his Lord?” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “˹The knowledge of˺ the unseen is with Allah alone. So wait! I too am waiting with you.”
And they say: “How is it that not a sign is sent down on him from his Lord?” Say: "Surely the unseen belongs to Allah alone. So wait, surely I am with you among those who wait.”
And they say, “Why has no sign been sent down unto him from his Lord?” Say, “Truly the Unseen belongs to God alone. So wait! Truly I am among those waiting along with you.
They say, ‘Why has no miraculous sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say [Prophet], ‘Only God knows the unseen, so wait- I too am waiting.&rsquo
And they say : wherefore is not a sign sent down unto him from his Lord! Say thou: the Hidden belongeth unto Allah alone; so wait, verily I am with you among those who wait
They say: "How is it that no sign was sent by his Lord (to His Prophet)?" Tell them: "Unknown things are only known to God. So watch and wait (for the sign); I am waiting and expecting with you."
They say: "Why isn’t a miraculous sign (of a different sort) sent down on him from his Lord?" Say, then: "The Unseen belongs to God alone (He does whatever He wills and only He knows what the future will bring): therefore, wait and see, indeed I too am with you among those who wait."
They say, ‘Why has not some sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘[The knowledge of] the Unseen belongs only to Allah. So wait. I too am waiting along with you.&rsquo
They say, "If only a sign had been sent down upon him from his Lord?" Say, "The unseen belongs only to Allah; but wait you for a while. Verily, I, too, am waiting with you!"
And they say, "if only a sign had been sent down upon him from his Lord!" Then say, "Surely the Unseen belongs only to Allah. So await! Surely with you I am of the waiting." (Literally: of the ones awaiting
They (unbelievers) say, "Why has his Lord not given him some miracles to (support his claim of being His Messenger)?" Say "(The knowledge) of the unseen certainly belongs to God. Wait and I too shall be waiting with you
And they say, "Why was not a miracle sent down upon him from his Lord?" Then answer (O Prophet), "The Unseen is known to Allah alone. Wait for the results of my Program. Indeed, I shall be waiting with you." (That will be the best sign for all of us to behold)
And they say: "Why is a Sign not sent down to them from their Lord?" Say: "The Unseen is only for Allah (to know). Then you wait: I will also wait with you."
And they say, "Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord?" So say, "The unseen is only for Allah [to administer], so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."
In regards to their saying: "Why has not a sign been sent down to him (Muhammad) from his Lord?" Tell them: " Allah Alone has the knowledge of the unseen. Wait if you will: I too shall wait with you."

They say, "Why has he not been granted a miracle from his Lord?" Say, "The divine secret is Allah´s domain exclusively. So, go ahead, keep watch! Surely, I too am waiting along with you!"

They say: “How come Mohammad’s Lord has not sent a miracle as a sign for his prophet hood?” Reply: “The Lord is the Master of the world of unseen [it is up to Him to bless me with a miracle or not. Besides, did such undeniable miracles of the previous prophet change the attitude of their people?] Well, wait (for this undeniable miracle that you are looking for.) I, too, will wait with you (for the completion of the biggest miracle of all, i.e., this Qur’an.

And they say: "If only an evidence/sign was descended on him from his Lord." So say: "But the absent/supernatural (is) to God so wait , that I am with you from the waiting

And they say, `Why is not a (decisive) sign (of destruction) sent down to him from his Lord?' Say then, `The hidden reality (will come to pass. The knowledge of it) belongs to Allah alone, so wait (for the time ordained). Surely, I am with you among those who wait.
And (now) they say (because of the same respite): ‘Why has some (decisive) sign not been sent down to this (Messenger [blessings and peace be upon him]) from his Lord?’ Say: ‘The unseen is for Allah alone. So wait. I too am with you amongst those who wait.
And they say: "How is it that not a sign is sent down on him from his Lord?" Say: "The unseen belongs to Allah Alone, so wait you, verily I am with you among those who wait (for Allahs Judgement)."
They say, 'Why has a sign not been sent down upon him from his Lord?' Say: 'The Unseen belongs only to God. Then watch and wait; I shall be with you watching and waiting.
They say, 'Why is not a sign sent down upon him from his Lord?' Say, 'The unseen is only God's; but wait ye for a while, verily, I with you am one of those who wait!

They -the idolaters- insolently say: "If only a sign other than the Quran be revealed to evince both his wisdom and the truth of his mission!" Say to them O Muhammad: "Divination of things to come rests in the hands of Allah Who knows the hidden, the unknown and all that is destined to come, therefore, you just wait O people, I will also await with you future events"
And they say, “Why has not a sign been sent down on him from his Fosterer?” So tell (them), “(I do not know) the unrevealed (affairs, it) is only for Allah (to decide), so wait, I (too), with you, will be of those who wait.”
